Walla Walla is sweet for the Sweets. General manager of the Sweets Zachary Fraser told a U-B reporter about how the team went through a rough spot during the season but the players recommitted themselves to the season. They now find themselves in the championship series which begins at Borleske Stadium on Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. as they take on the Corvallis Knights. Tickets are on sale now.

Walla Walla City Council OKs distilleries in industrial zones. The Council voted 5-1 on Wednesday to allow the facilities in parts of the city. So how exactly is vodka made? Well you can make vodka from various fruits, potatoes and grains. Here’s a video (courtesy of NPR’s Science Friday) that takes you through the process of distilling vodka from grains.
